This is a beautiful vintage hand carved wooden wall hanging of a mother and baby, possibly a reference to the Christian / Catholic Madonna and baby Jesus. Either way it is an endearing piece depicting a mother looking lovingly at her child. The wood is light in color but still warm, with a light stain. The grain is visible and very stunning. The back of the carving has a loop for hanging on the wall. Excellent condition! No chips, cracks or repairs. This item may be vintage, meaning over 20+ years old and previously owned, therefore there may be natural wear from use over time.
