This 16” tall vintage hand-carved wooden sculpture bust features unique detail. It is Hand carved by Henry Fernander of Nassau Bahamas Its origins and cultural significance is of Bahamian folk artist Henry Fernander. There’s a superficial split on the forehead of the bust - gives character to its age. Not sure of what year it was carved but I did have it in my possession for over 20 years!!! This is a super rare sculpture & would make a unique gift or addition to any collection.
