Deeply carved folk art pine plaque shows a hawk diving at a scurrying rabbit with pine woods and water in the background. Signed lower right Louis Beaupre. Probably originated in Quebec, Canada. The wood has acquired a mellow deep patina from age and I'd guess this piece is at least 50 years old and probably older. measures 11.5" by 10.5" by 1.25" deep. Skillfully carved from a single pine board with nice dry original surface. Some very minor damage. PLEASE CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.
