Description

5 lb., prehistoric Paleo-American, basalt, rock art sculpture, multi purpose hand tool. Pecked, ground, and very nicely smoothed, this tool, most probably, was used for crushing, grinding, chipping, smashing, or pounding. It is a very comfortable tool with excellent design and ease of use; a simplistic, yet functional design. Several cryptic in images are also visible. Found "as is" near the Columbia River Gorge at Hood River, Oregon.
