Description
1.5 lb., prehistoric Paleo-American, basalt, rock art sculpture, multi purpose hand tool. Obviously, it was a portable tool used for crushing, grinding, chipping, smashing, or pounding. Expertly shaped, ground, and very nicely smoothed, it is a very comfortable tool with excellent design and ease of use with a simplistic, yet functional design. Several cryptic images are also apparent. Found "as is" near the Columbia River Gorge at Hood River, Oregon. Thanks for viewing.
