This is, very simply, an exquisite example of ancient tool making mastery; this the 2 lb. marble; grinding, smashing, rubbing, smoothing tool. I believe this piece is near perfection in design and function. Lots of cryptic symbols and signs! A real treasure! Found "as is" near the Columbia River Gorge at Troutdale, Oregon.
