Description

Wonderful example of a finely sculpted, small 8 oz., prehistoric Paleo-American chert hand tool. This piece of stone tool art has been impeccably sculpted and finished. Many enigmatically cryptic images/effigies/affigies to consider; some are subtle, and some are blatantly visible. This artifact has a high level of ancient presence about it. This a rubbing, grinding, smoothing, crushing implement. The art work is surreal to say the least--wildly weird! Found "as is" near the Sandy River in Troutdale, Oregon.
