Description

Amazingly sculpted basalt, 20.28 oz/575 grms., prehistoric Paleo-American rock art hand tool and receptacle. Along with scraping and pounding functions, it appears to have a "dish" type function for holding something special i.e. herbs, powders, ceremonial substances. There are several "esoteric" images perceptively carved into its structure also. Found "as is" near Mt. Hood at Zig Zag, Oregon.
