Description

Statuesque, and finely sculpted andesite, 1.5 lb., "long neck tortise head?", bird?, reptile?, wolf? figurine/hand tool. This "multi tool", was used, no doubt, as a chopping, cutting, flattening, hammer, and smashing tool. It seems, judging by the lack of wear, etc., it was, most probably, used to work softer materials i.e., plants, nuts, grains, bones, sinew, hides, etc. This is a very very nice artifact with a "few" apparent cryptic type affigies included! Found "as is" in Eastern Oregon near Lake Wallowa. This is a marvelous piece of "blended" craftsmanship and artistry. This sculpter was a magician! (Alien!), or both!? Shaman maybe? This artifact has a mystical value or "quality of mysticism" feeling about it, also. Great peace!
