IMAGINATIVE LOBSTER - A WONDERFUL PIECE This lobster is a unique alebrije. The legs are glued. The antennae are removable This lobster is approximately 4 3/4" tall , 4 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide. This is a terrific unusual piece and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Alebrijes are Mexico's fantastic, imaginative figures - they are often called "creatures of the dreams and the imagination". They are hand-carved and hand-painted of copal wood in Central Mexico where I travel regularly to select affordable high quality and imaginative pieces.
