Formerly a furniture maker, Bob Trotman (b 1947) is a wood worker and sculptor based in Western, NC. From the web: "His carved wooden figures are often satirical elaborate, contemporary expressions of traditional religious figures, ships' figureheads, and commercial 'show figures.'" Trotman's work is held in many private and public collections. Offered for sale is his most recent series, Business as Usual, which satirizes corporate culture through the eye of a craftsman.
